Overview

Maintenance Fitter – Timber Industry

Location : Bay of Plenty

Pay rate : $38.00 - $40.00

We’re looking for skilled tradespeople to step into a hands-on role within a busy manufacturing environment. You’ll be part of a fast-paced team where variety is guaranteed, and no two days are ever the same.

Responsibilities

Working within the timber industry
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs on production machinery
Diagnosing faults and working proactively to reduce downtime
Supporting continuous improvement and reliability of equipment

Qualifications

Trade qualified Maintenance Fitter (or equivalent experience)

Strong mechanical aptitude with proven experience in an industrial / manufacturing setting

Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and heavy machinery (timber industry experience a bonus)

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Health and safety conscious with a proactive approach to problem solving
