A position has become available at a privately-owned companion animal clinic just west of Christchurch.

This is a three-vet practice.

Vets are supported by six experienced vet nurses.

This rural practice has a laidback atmosphere but can also be very busy.

The team sees a wide range of cases, from the easy to the more complex.

The clinic is fully equipped with a full IDEXX suite, x-rays and ultrasound, IM3 dental and microscope with a screen to discuss cases with owners.

This is a permanent position offering between 25 to 40 hours per week, your choice.

The clinic hours are 8 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday, and 9 am to 12 noon on Saturdays.

They are closed Sundays, and the after-hours work is referred to the local emergency centre.

The employer is offering a competitive salary along with a yearly bonus, depending on your performance.

The successful applicant will also receive Southern Cross Health Insurance

Located just 15 minutes west of the Christchurch City Centre, the area is home to adrenaline-pumping activities, lush vineyards and pristine glacial lakes.
