• About the Role
• A Hospital Aide position plays a key role in the effectivefunctioning of the ward. We have a high turnover of patients and work within afast-paced environment. We are looking for a Hospital Aide to assist Midwiferyand Nursing staff whilst maintaining a safe and clean work environment.You will be responsible for :
• Cleaning and making up birthing rooms
• Cleaning and preparing theatres
• Ward cleaning and stocking
• Ordering food and linen supplies
• Delivering patient meals.This position on birthing suite has minimal patient contact.The service operates Monday to Sunday - Morning 6 : 30am '3pm, Afternoon 2 : 30pm - 11pm and Nights 10 : 30pm - 7am.

• The Christchurch Women's Hospital provides maternityservices that are specialised to provide care to women who have medicalproblems or are experiencing complications in their pregnancy.
• About you
• You will enjoy working as part of a multidisciplinary team,have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, a high level ofconfidentiality, and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Ability to work all shifts - Morning, Afternoon and Nights
• Ability to be flexible Monday to Sunday
• Honesty and Integrity
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to engage well
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a multidisciplinary team
• Initiative and a proactive approach to work
• Ideally experience as a Hospital Aide or similar
• Working at Health New Zealand
