As part of the Enterprise Risk Management Office (ERMO) , you will join a closely knit and passionate team dedicated to building resilience capabilities across A
STAR. You will play a central role in engaging with the various Research Entities (REs), driving critical business continuity and crisis management initiatives, and shaping a stronger, more agile organisation.The key responsibilities are :
Serve as internal advisor on Business Continuity Management matters across ASTAR.Support end-to-end implementation of the BCM programme, including facilitating risk assessments, business impact analyses (BIA), and continuity / recovery planning.Strengthen security preparedness by incorporating key elements into BCM planning, including facility security risks, emergency response protocols, and coordination with security stakeholders.Operationalise the BCM review cycle (Risk Analysis & Review, BIA, Recovery Strategies, Recovery Procedures).Validate and improve continuity and recovery strategies, ensuring plans are practical, executable, and tested regularly.Coordinate and support incident and crisis responses, providing structure and clarity in real time and post-incident environments.Collaborate with key stakeholders across ASTAR and ASTAR HQ, including risk and control functions, HR, IT, Facilities, and senior leadership, to ensure alignment and integration of BCM objectives.Requirements
At least 3 years of relevant experience in Business Continuity Planning (BCP), Crisis Management (CM), and Operational Resilience.Possess planning, critical and analytical skills with an eye for details.Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changes.Excellent command of written and spoken English.Possess strong interpersonal communication skills and stakeholder management skills.Familiar with the engagement of internal and external agencies on BCP, CM and EP related issues.Working experience in a scientific or biomedical related company will be advantageous.#J-18808-Ljbffr
