Overview

Reporting to the Assistant Director of the Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), the candidate will support the TPRM Lead in TPRM policy, framework, programme and risk oversight. The candidate will work with Synapxe Procurement, particularly the TPM-Enhance Programme (TPM-EP), an initiative to improve the effectiveness of third party and vendor management and governance.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Work with Procurement & TPEM lead to enhance the current Synapxe-wide TPRM policy, framework, and governance including processes and tools.
  • Support with Procurement to establish a central TPM inventory and necessary TPRM infrastructure including risk associated with onboarding and ongoing monitoring of third parties from a risk-domain perspective.
  • Design and deliver RSG TPRM reporting including risk exposure to internal and external threats, compliance and residual risk to Synapxe.
  • Incorporate GIA TPVM advisory audit (2024) recommendation.
  • Support the TPRM governance model that provides ongoing monitoring and oversight of the risks posed by third parties.
  • Work with Procurement to identify and escalate key items of concern regarding new and existing third parties, including potential concentration risks and chain-sourcing risk exposure.
  • Provide TPRM guidance & promote awareness on third party risk management.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification. Minimum 5 years focused expertise in third-party oversight, vendor governance, risk management, operational risks.
  • Third party vendor experience preferred with good third-party risk technical knowledge.
  • Good people management, internal consulting and partnering skills.
  • Able to conceptualise and operationalise policies into practices.
  • Tenacity, energy and resilience.
  • Critical thinker, self-motivated, excellent communicator and a team player.
  • Quick thinking, solutions-oriented mind-set, strong project management and facilitation capabilities to build cross functional partnerships to drive results.
  • Proactive, open to new challenges, innovative, resourceful and is able to work independently.
  • Strong stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
