Overview
We are seeking an outstanding academic to join our Agribusiness team at the University of Waikato. Whether you are an emerging scholar or an established leader in your field, you will play a key role in advancing research, teaching, and engagement in agribusiness.
You will contribute to the development of innovative, research-informed teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and supervise the next generation of agribusiness scholars. Your research will generate high-quality outputs that influence academic debates, inform policy and practice, and enhance the visibility of the University nationally and internationally.
Collaboration is central to this role – you will work collegially with colleagues across the School and Division and build partnerships with industry and academic networks. At more senior levels, you will demonstrate leadership through research impact, postgraduate supervision, mentoring of colleagues, and shaping the strategic direction of agribusiness education and research. This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week) based at our Hillcrest Campus. Salary will be commensurate with the skills, knowledge, and experience you bring to the position.
