Position Overview :

The successful candidate will assume a pivotal role as a Senior Accountant at the firm, contributing significantly to the provision of comprehensive accounting services to a diverse client base.

Responsibilities encompass managing client relationships, ensuring adherence to accounting standards, and actively contributing to the firm's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare financial statements, tax returns, and other compliance documents for various clients.

Conduct detailed financial analysis and offers strategic insights to clients.

Assists in the development and implementation of accounting processes and procedures.

Collaborate with clients and team members to address financial challenges and optimize business operations.

Stay ahead of changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance.

Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting in New Zealand

CA qualified, or working towards

Possess 2+ years of experience in NZ public accounting.

Demonstrate a strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
