We’re looking for a hands-on retail leader to step into the Head of Showroom role to take charge of key departments, including Bathroom, Plumbing, Kitchen, Flooring, Storage, Electrical, Lighting, and Paint at a busy, large-format DIY and Trade store in Invercargill.

What you’ll be doing :
Leading and inspiring a team of upto 20 staff (with your awesome 2IC alongside you) - coaching, training and developmentDriving sales and profitability by delivering outstanding customer service that keeps people coming backManaging merchandising, stock, inventory, and all the behind-the-scenes adminCollaborating with the Retail Manager to streamline processes and boost efficiency and increase performanceMaking sure Health & Safety and HR matters are compliantWhat we want from you :
At least 3+ years of managing in retail — big box, FMCG, or smaller stores, where you’ve owned and had proven resultsA creative thinker who spots ways to improve and runs with themA natural leader with excellent communication and the ability to motivate your teamSomeone keen on growing personally and professionally for the long haulYou're a genuine, down-to-earth personality who aligns with this culture.Full NZ working rights (must have this!)Ready to step up and lead?
