We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to play a critical role in delivering a prioritised roadmap from gathering and analysing business requirements, facilitating communication between stakeholders, through to ensuring successful implementation and adoption of the enhancements.
What You’ll Do
As a Senior Business Analyst you’ll be responsible for the following day-to-day activities :
- Work alongside Process Owners in their efforts to optimise the processes they own.
- Document requirements, lead / manage the review of those documents with the subject matter experts, and achieve formal signoff
- Identify critical success measures and ensure data is available to track them
- Work closely with the Technical Leads as they develop out the functional and technical designs, ensuring they will effectively meet the business needs
- Work closely with the Test Analysts, ensure they are also kept updated, and especially made aware of scope changes, project issues, and risks
- Resolve issues raised by developers and testers during the Development and Testing stages, in relation to specification questions and ambiguities, communicating with process owners and SMEs as necessary
Duties include :
Process Improvement : Analyse existing business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness and reduce riskRequirements Gathering : Lead the requirements gathering process by conducting interviews, workshops, and document analysis to capture the business needs and objectivesDocumentation : Prepare detailed business requirement documents, use cases, user stories and acceptance criteria to support project development and testingStakeholder Management : Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and change agents to ensure clear communication and alignment on the initiativesTesting and Validation : Collaborate with Testing teams to develop test plans, and validate that solutions meet business requirements and quality standardsTraining and Support : Support the development of the training material and help with questions posed during training. Act as a knowledge expert during hypercare to ensure successful adoption of the enhancements.What You'll Bring
Minimum of 7 years of experience in business analysis, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior roleProven ability to navigate the complexities of business and keep laser-focused on delivering the set objectivesDemonstrable experience mapping processes using BPMN2.0, Value Chain Diagrams and Customer Journey Maps and building SIPOCs and RACI tables. Experience using BIC Process Design is a plus.Proficiency in key business tools such as : Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Jira and ConfluenceExperience in IT Service Delivery, while not essential, would be considered favourablyExceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutionsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical, junior and senior stakeholdersExperience with Agile and Scrum ways of workingSelf-driven, but work well within a team environment and under pressureWhy Join Us Here at Datacom?
