About the Role
We're on the lookout for a motivated and experienced
Area Manager
to lead a portfolio of
Skechers
stores across the
South Island
Christchurch
Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of multiple Skechers stores to achieve sales targets and KPIs
Coach and support Store Managers to build high-performing teams and drive exceptional results
Monitor store performance, identifying opportunities for growth and celebrating success
Manage wage costs and ensure efficient rostering across all sites
Support Store Managers with recruitment, performance management, and succession planning
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment
Maintain brand standards across store presentation, visual merchandising, and stock control
Skills & Experience
Proven experience as an Area Manager, Cluster Manager, or Multi-Site Leader in a fast-paced retail environment
A confident, driven leader with strong business acumen and operational know-how
Passionate about developing people and creating a positive team culture
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments
Strong understanding of sales reporting, wage control, and visual merchandising
Results-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement and team development
