Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher

Subjects : English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Māori, The arts.

Omihi School is a primary school from Y1-8 situated in the beautiful North Canterbury, 15 minutes north of Amberley. We have a roll of 42 students and are looking for someone to join our ‘One Big Whānau’.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with tamariki and uphold high expectations of yourself and your students.
• Deliver curriculum in all areas, with a particular focus on mathematics and literacy.
• Implement a structured literacy approach as utilized by our kura.
• Support culturally responsive teaching and uphold the school’s values.
