Location : Oxford Area School, Canterbury – 52 km west of Christchurch. The school has a roll of approximately 530 students.

Position : Full‑time, permanent, Head of Department, Physical Education and Health, beginning in Term 1, 2026.

We are seeking an exceptional, certified teacher with senior‑level experience in health and physical education. The successful candidate will hold 2MU + 1MMA qualifications.

Responsibilities :

• Lead and develop the physical education and health curriculum for Years 7–15.
• Teach classroom and co‑curriculum programmes, including the outdoor pursuits and leisure course.
• Mentor staff and students to foster a culture of lifelong learning and well‑being.
