Agri Manager - Tararua to Hawkes Bay

About the role :

As an Agri Manager at LIC, you’ll be the vital link between our innovative herd improvement solutions and the farmers who rely on them. You’ll champion customer relationships, drive sales performance, and bring the voice of the customer into everything we do. This role is about making a real impact—helping farmers optimise their livestock, grow sustainable businesses, and shape the future of dairy farming in New Zealand. This role sits in the Wellington / Hawkes Bay Pod and covers the Tararua to Hawkes Bay area.

Key focus areas include :

• Maximising relationships with existing customers and actively building relationships with new customers.
• Successful implementation of LIC solutions and the achievement of sales targets in your area.
• Identifying new business opportunities with existing and new customers.
• Undertaking educational and promotional initiatives with farmers.

About You :

Making connections and building relationships will come easily to you, and you'll genuinely enjoy customer interactions. Having a background in dairy would be advantageous, but most importantly, you'll understand and empathise with the unique challenges our farmers face, and build trust and credibility with them.

You’ll be able to use data and insights to make effective decisions and you’ll use this information to come well-prepared to your customer visits.
