The Team Manager, Capital Investment leads and manages people, plans and resources to support the delivery of outcomes that are aligned to the Ministry’s purpose and agreed strategies. The Team Manager leads the strategic finance project accounting team, focusing on providing Property Delivery with expert support and advice. This leadership role ensures alignment with the Ministry of Education’s Strategy while driving performance and continuous improvement.
Salary range : $121,139 – $181,709 per annum + 3% KiwiSaver . The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary which reflects individual skills and experience.

Te Pou Rangatôpú | Corporate group is responsible for delivering essential Ministry-wide statutory and corporate functions. We enable the organisation to operate effectively and help fulfil the statutory and reporting obligations of Te ÀTahu. The Capital Investments Team plays a critical role in supporting the capital delivery of school property projects. The team partners with delivery teams from project inception through to completion, providing financial insights, analysis, and advice at every stage. By ensuring strong financial oversight and alignment with strategic objectives, the Capital Investments Team helps drive successful outcomes and deliver value across the school property portfolio.
