Te Ratoka Putea, the Financial Services Division plays a crucial role in ensuring financial stability and efficiency through key functions, including Financial Accounting Services, Management Accounting Services, Procurement, and Financial Systems.
The role | Te mahi
Join our Revenue Management team within the Financial Services Division and play a key role in supporting the Faculty of Dentistry.
You'll take ownership of a wide range of financial and transactional responsibilities, from managing accounts receivable and administering complex patient payment plans to overseeing fee transactions, debt management, and collections.
You'll actively contribute to a high-performance team environment by delivering excellent service and seeking opportunities for continuous finance and business improvement.
This role offers both scope and variety within the financial services framework.

We're looking for someone with a sharp eye for numbers and strong data analysis skills who also understands the importance of good accounting practices and fraud awareness.
In this role, you'll apply your knowledge of tax legislation, including GST, while managing day-to-day tasks such as ledger maintenance, journal preparation, reconciliations, and preparing financial reports.
Just as importantly, you'll bring excellent client service skills — handling inquiries professionally, providing clear guidance, and supporting colleagues through training where needed.
Other key skills include :
Recognised qualification in accounts administration or a related field.
Strong numerical and data analysis skills.
A critical thinker who enjoys problem-solving.
Understanding of clinic operations and the titanium financial system is advantageous.
Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, with ability to adapt and navigate new systems.
Dedication to working in a culturally safe and respectful manner and an understanding and appreciation of Te Ao Maori, Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles, and Pasifika values.

This is a full-time (37.5 hours per week), permanent position based in Otepoti, Dunedin.
The appointments range for this role is $69,931 to $74,609.
Top of Range $80,285.
