Expenditure Analyst

The Opportunity

We are looking for an Expenditure Analyst to join our Finance team on a full-time permanent basis (37.5 hours per week) in our busy Dunedin office.

The purpose of this position is to maintain the procurement system and manage the processing of Council's expenditure.

As an Expenditure Analyst, you will be responsible for :

• Ensuring compliance with the ORC procurement policy for all expenditure transactions
• Processing authorised creditor invoices in a timely manner
• Investigating and responding to all suppliers or ORC staff queries in relation to creditors
• Making manual accruals monthly for expenditure, prepayments and retentions
• Reporting on expenditure levels and analysing expenditure data
