- As Project Manager - Planned Programmes, you'll work with a variety of stakeholders to contract and deliver bespoke projects of work including exterior paint and re roofing projects across the country.Projects could include engineers report, designs and council consent and involve working with external contractors in the market.You'll use project management principles to ensure your portfolio of projects are delivered on time, to budget and meet all compliance requirements.
Your expertise in property fire safety provisions, refurbishment and prior practical, on the tools experience will ensure that you have the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully manage your portfolio.We are a supportive team on the cusp of achieving greatness, so it's a great time to join and influence outcomes and the way we do things.
Nga pumanawatanga ou - What you will bringUp to date recognised Project Management certification e.g. Prince2You'll have at least 5 years of proven project management experience gained in the construction or residential property maintenance industriesExperience with reading architectural designs, engineers report and building plans.Tertiary qualification in Project Management / Engineering or similar and proven project management with a minimum experience of 5 years.Substantial practical experience working in property maintenance or construction industryDemonstrated experience in contract management and negotiationA track record of effective engagement with stakeholders, contractors and colleagues, to ensure priorities are communicated clearly and deadlines are achievedDesire and resilience to work in a complex and constantly changing environmentSound understanding of all legislative requirements within the construction industry (NZSCurrent Driver's LicenceWe offer competitive salaries, five weeks' annual leave, and flexible working arrangements.As a Kainga Ora - Homes and Communities employee, we want to make sure that you have all the tools and support you need.We want to ensure you are healthy and have work-life balance.
