You'll oversee all aspects of project planning, delivery, and risk management – ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
As part of our Capital Delivery team, you'll collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and partners to deliver transformative projects such as Te Wai Takamori o Te Awa Kairangi (RiverLink) and other major urban development initiatives.
About You You'll be an experienced project manager who thrives on collaboration and brings strong leadership and communication skills.
You're confident managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects and can translate technical detail into clear outcomes for delivery partners and the community.
To be successful in this role, you will bring : A bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction, Engineering, or a related field At least five years' project management experience Proven stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills A solid understanding of project governance, budgeting, and risk management Experience with project management software such as MS Project or Primavera About Us At Hutt City Council our vision is to build a connected, resilient and inclusive city where all our people thrive.
