- We’re looking for someone who’s excited by the idea of building smarter, faster, and more reliable testing solutions. You’ll be joining a team that’s modernising how we deliver quality across our platforms—using automation, AI, and performance testing to make a real impact.
- We are in early days, so you will be responsible for changing perceptions & influencing uptake.
Your new role
In this role, you’ll work in hybrid agile ways of working to :
Build and maintain automated test suites using tools like Playwright and Selenium.Integrate testing into CI / CD pipelines.Work closely with developers to shift testing earlier in the lifecycle.Explore AI-driven testing using natural language prompts and model tuning.Define performance benchmarks and automate load testing across environments.Own defect management workflows and contribute to release readiness reporting.Document test cases, automation scripts, and AI prompt libraries.Happy to talk flexible working.Please note that for the successful candidate, this process will include a phone screen with our Talent Acquisition team, two interviews (either face-to-face or online via Teams), and background checks.
About you
We’re looking for someone who :
Has hands-on experience with test automation frameworks like Playwright or Selenium.Is comfortable scripting in Python, TypeScript or JavaScript.Understands CI / CD tools and pipeline integration (e.g. GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).Is curious about AI in testing and open to learning prompt engineering.Experience with performance testing tools is a bonus, but not essential—we’re happy to support your growth in this area.About QBE
