Contract Test Analyst

This role supports the stability of a big brand with a customer focused approach and reports to the Practice Lead QA for Connected Appliances.

You will be an integral part of a team of product software engineers within the connected appliance space.

This is an onsite role in East Tamaki with an immediate start.

Role details

Contract duration : 3 months to 6 months initially

Immediate start

Onsite role – working closely with product teams

Location : East Tamaki

Rate : NZ$100 - NZ$115 per hour

Reporting to the Practice Lead QA for Connected Appliances

Responsibilities

Design and carry out testing processes for new and updated connected applications and product software, analyse the results, and identify and report problems

Contribute towards adoption of best software testing practice within the organisation

Required / ideal qualifications

Functional testers with some experience in baseline automation testing and mobile app testing for iOS and Android (non-negotiable)

Experience with Appium, TestNG / Java (important / preferred)

Problem solving capabilities (helps in handling issues arising from product integration)

Consumer product domain or IoT testing experience or product application testing experience (good to have)

Availability to join within 1 week (next week) or 2 weeks max
