About the role

Due to an internal movement, we are looking for an experienced Senior Analyst to join our Insights team. The Insights team analyses our evidence base, both quantitative and qualitative, to identify useful and relevant insights for strategy and policy development, reporting, and decision‑making. The team's work includes supporting the delivery of statutory environmental and climate reports; producing insights from these reports; developing visual tools; and generating insights from climate and environmental data. The team ensures that a Te Ao Māori perspective is incorporated into insight generation and products.

Skills and experience

• 5+ years' experience utilising both qualitative and quantitative analytical methods to generate insights.
• Excellent communication skills with experience delivering reports, written communications, presentations or other products.
• Significant experience using data and evidence to generate accessible and actionable insights which tell a story.
• Collaborative, curious, and hard‑working, you thrive in agile and multidisciplinary environments.
• Prior experience delivering climate or environmental science reporting would be advantageous.

Salary range

$110,501 to $134,128 per annum.
