Sexual Health Nursing is a dynamic area where you will be working in nurse led clinics covering the continuum of care in sexual health.
This includes the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of STIs, collaborative management of sexual assault and other sexual health related needs.
You will join a supportive multidisciplinary teamFor this role you will be based at Body Positive, running nurse led clinics; being accountable for care delivery, coordination of patients needing STI testing, HIV prevention and working with patients newly diagnosed with HIV.Communication, problem solving skills and the ability to work with this culturally diverse patient group is essential.
You will be working closely with a multi-disciplinary team of medical specialists, psychologists, nurses and sexual health education team.Auckland Sexual Health Service is a multidisciplinary regional service covering all aspects of sexual health care and support.A significant proportion of the patient population visiting the service identifies as Maori and / or Pacific Peoples, the service would warmly welcome Maori, Pacific Peoples applicants to apply.For further details, please refer to the position description
