As a Quality Management Specialist, you will lead the implementation and management of a Quality Management System (QMS) based on ISO 9001 principles for the Commercial and Contracts team. You will transform our approach from compliance management to proactive quality management, ensuring consistent service delivery, reducing operational risks, and driving continuous improvement across all commercial and contract operations. This includes :
- Lead the development and implementation of a Quality Management System based on ISO 9001 : 2015 principles without pursuing formal accreditation
- Design and implement process management systems
- Integrate operational risk management with quality processes
- Establish quality metrics and performance indicators linked to quality requirements
- Conduct internal quality audits and manage corrective and preventive action processes
- Lead evidence-based decision making through data analysis and quality performance measurement
- Coordinate quality management across multiple teams and stakeholders
- Provide expert advice on quality management methodologies and continuous improvement techniques, and develop and deliver quality management training
- Lead and support internal improvement projects by analysing existing processes, collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, and implementing solutions that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness
The salary range for this role is $124,292 – $151,913 +3% KiwiSaver contribution.

Proven experience in developing and embedding quality management systems, with ISO 9001 framework knowledge and implementationExperience with quality management methodologies including lean principles, continuous improvement, and process improvement techniquesDemonstrated expertise in process management, development, documentation, and control systemsExperience in conducting quality audits and compliance assessmentStrong understanding of risk-integrated process managementKnowledge of quality assurance systems, performance measurement, and corrective action managementExperience in developing and implementing quality metrics and performance indicatorsAbility to integrate compliance requirements within quality processes and frameworksExperience in change managementExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into accessible explanationsProven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholdersExperience in developing and delivering training on quality managementAbout us
