Support Worker

Overview

Permanent, full-time role based in Papakura, working Friday – Monday. Includes increased KiwiSaver contribution and extra annual leave. You will support people using Pathways’ service to live their dreams and flourish.

We are looking for someone with a good understanding and commitment to the principles of recovery. You should be able to engage with anyone and work in a recovery- and strengths-focused way.

About the role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi

You will report to the Team Coach and join Pathways Housing and Recovery team in Papakura, working with a team of Support Workers. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Papakura, Auckland. You will be working Friday - Monday, 7am – 3 : 30pm.

• Advocate and support people to be well and thrive.
• Connect them with resources that support them in living well and assist them in building resilience.
• Help people connect with their communities, building the relationships that matter most.
• Foster positive change for a more positive life.
• Provide medication support for our people.
