OverviewAuckland One Rail (AOR) is seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager to ensure our stations are fully operational and ready for the first day of City Rail Link (CRL) service.
This is a unique opportunity to play a critical role in shaping the future of train commuter service and to keep Auckland moving.This is a fixed term role through to the end of June, 2026.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and deliver the Operational Readiness Plan for CRL station operations.Coordinate training and onboarding for new and existing station staff.Manage operational readiness activities, including testing, commissioning, and mobilisation of security resources.Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and key stakeholders to ensure all assets, systems, and procedures are in place for Day 1.Lead working groups and contribute to the Hypercare planning.QualificationsProven experience in station operations, customer experience, and metro rail environments preferred.Extensive background in project management and operational readiness.Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.Experience in delivering training and competency frameworks.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.BenefitsFree Train Travel : Enjoy complimentary train travel on Auckland passenger trains.Travel Discount : Nominate a person and up to 3 dependents for train travel discounts.NZ Railways Trust Membership : Benefit from discounted holiday accommodation and medical perks.
