Our Auckland laboratory is currently offering an exciting opportunity for two permanent, Laboratory Technician to join the Microbiology Department.
A Laboratory Technician with microbiology experience is preferred; however, consideration will also be given to training someone with the right skills, preferably with a science background.
We are looking to bring both a full-time and a part-time team member on board as part of our growing laboratory.

To be successful in this role you need to have :
Ability to absorb, evaluate, and respond to information and ideas in a positive manner.
Highly motivated and driven with professional attitude.
Ability to work well under pressure and safety and quality conscious.
Ability to organise, prioritise and focus on daily work to meet turnaround times.
Preference for candidates with microbiology experience, but open to expertise in other related areas.
Continuous improvement mind set.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent computer skills.
Flexibility to work additional hours when required, including weekends.
Enthusiasm, energy and a driven outlook.
