We are committed to ensuring our workforce reflects the community we support.
Whakarongorau Aotearoa (Whakarongorau), a social enterprise, is a digital health and social services organisation with a proven record of connecting people seamlessly with care when they need it. We run free to the public, virtual health, mental health, and social services for the people of Aotearoa. We want to give everyone in Aotearoa the opportunity for wellness. We focus on the connected world of digital care, where we can help join all the dots, and select the right services, advice, support and help for the right need.
We use our healthy imagination to solve big problems by understanding the tiny ways that people are blocked from getting the care they deserve. Our imagination comes from our people and our partners and their drive to never give up.
Join the Register Central Team for the National Cervical Screening Programme at Whakarongorau Aotearoa. As guardians of the Register, we manage the database for eligible New Zealanders undergoing cervical screening. This is an exciting time to be part of the team, as we introduced HPV testing in late July and implemented a new register.
With comprehensive training, you'll contribute to the effort of eradicating cervical cancer throughout Aotearoa New Zealand. Your role involves assisting various healthcare professionals in accessing accurate screening data, providing customer service to screening and treatment providers, labs, and participants.
Additionally, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring under-screened individuals, particularly Māori and Pacific populations, have access to screening as the new program develops.
We are a forward-thinking team, committed to delivering high-quality support services that touch the lives of individuals across Aotearoa. Our collaboration extends beyond the surface – we work closely with health providers, laboratories, and colposcopy clinics, ensuring that every step of the screening pathway is as efficient and accurate as possible.
As a Service Coordinator for the National Cervical Screening Programme, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that crucial participant screening information is accessible to a diverse range of health professionals. Your dedication will directly impact the health and well-being of countless individuals, providing them with the care and support they deserve.
In this role, you will become the bridge that connects various stakeholders, fostering a seamless experience within the programme. This is a full-time position based in Wellington CBD with options for a flexible working environment once full training has been completed.
