About The Role

Join our Nursing Resource Team at Tauranga Hospital and play a key part in delivering exceptional patient care.

As a Health Care Assistant (HCA), you will be the backbone of support for our nursing staff, stepping in when needed.

You assist with mobility, personal care, ensuring a comfortable environment for patients.

This permanent part-time role (1 FTE) involves rostered shifts : mornings, afternoons, nights, weekends – offering variety and flexibility.

About the Team / Service / Location

The Nursing Resource Team is a dynamic and responsive workforce that provides essential support across multiple hospital departments.

Based in Bay of Plenty, you will work with experienced professionals in a collaborative environment that encourages continuous learning and development.

About You

You are a compassionate and reliable Health Care Assistant with a strong commitment to patient care.

You adapt quickly, work within a multidisciplinary team, and provide excellent support to nursing staff, making you an invaluable member of our team.

Essential Skills And Experience

Certificate in Health Care Assistance Level 4 (or equivalent).

Experience working as an HCA preferably in a healthcare or related setting.

Ability to work a rotating roster across all shifts, including weekends and nights.
