We’re on the hunt for a Group Finance Manager to join the Holmes Group and play a pivotal role across our business. Working closely with our leadership team, this is a hands-on role where your financial insight will directly shape strategy, guide performance, and drive smart decision-making.

What You’ll Do
You’ll take ownership of financial management across our group, ensuring our systems, reporting, and processes support efficiency and growth. From forecasting and budgeting to analysis and compliance, you’ll be the go-to person for sound financial guidance. This is a key position with visibility across all parts of the business. A great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, influence, and being part of a collaborative leadership team.
Lead all aspects of financial control, including month-end reporting, budgets, forecasts, annual accounts, payroll, invoicing, and job costing.
Manage banking, insurance and external accounting / audit relationships.
Partner with project managers, quantity surveyors, and leaders across the Holmes Group to improve financial outcomes and support key business decisions.
Drive the annual budget-setting process, quarterly forecasts, cashflow reporting, and Board reporting.
Provide meaningful insights into financial trends, margins, and KPIs that guide strategy and growth.
Manage, support and mentor our administration team, ensuring efficient systems and processes.
Have experience in commercial leadership roles.

You’ll have experience working with founders and owner-operator businesses, where collaboration, initiative, and adaptability are key. You enjoy sharing your knowledge, building capability in others, and bringing a commercial lens to every conversation.
