About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi

This is a role that places you at the heart of our financial strategy, influencing key business decisions and enhancing performance across the organisation. Reporting to the Manager Finance Business Partnering, you\'ll work closely with Deputy Chief Executives and their leadership teams, serving as a trusted advisor and the critical link between Finance and the broader business. Your insights will guide long-term financial planning, strategic initiatives, and robust governance, ensuring ACC\'s financial strategies are aligned with our ambitious goals.

This role has responsibility for the portfolio of work that covers the Strategy Engagement & Prevention and Technology & Data Groups. There are four direct reports to this role.

What you\'ll be doing | Ngā kawenga

• Strategic Partnering : Act as a trusted advisor to business unit leaders, providing insightful financial analysis and guidance to drive strategic decision-making and enhance business performance.
• Innovative Solutions : Deliver finance business partnering services through a creative and pragmatic approach, developing solutions that address complex business challenges.
• Leadership in Financial Strategy : Provide leadership in strategy development, long-term financial planning, and the creation of performance metrics that align with ACC\'s strategic objectives.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work with cross-functional teams to integrate financial planning into the development of strategic initiatives, business cases, and investment opportunities.
• Governance and Compliance : Ensure financial strategies incorporate macroeconomic trends, risk management, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Performance Reporting : Deliver comprehensive, timely, and relevant financial and non-financial reporting to support informed decision-making and strategic direction.
• Team Leadership : Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.

The appointing salary range for this role is $160,000 - $190,000 with appointment within the range depending on skills and experience. ACC also offers 9% superannuation on top of base salary.

This is a Wellington based role.
