Oracle Project Financials Specialist – 18-month fixed term role

We are seeking a dynamic Oracle Project Financials Specialist to design, develop, and deliver innovative reporting solutions that empower our business. The fixed-term role supports a global project to enhance continuous improvement.

Overview
As part of the Oracle implementation journey, you will help shape and configure Project Financials processes within Oracle, ensuring teams have access to accurate, actionable data now and in the future.
Responsibilities
- Gather and document project financial requirements from Finance and operational teams.
- Assist gap analysis to identify differences between current and designed future state for a successful transition.
- Develop and validate financial, operational, and project-based reports.
- Support configuration and testing of Project Financials modules, including project setup, cost capture, revenue processes and month-end processes.
- Assist in data validation, reconciliation, and migration activities.
- Create user guides, training materials, and reference documents for reporting tools and processes.
- Deliver training sessions to business users on project financials.
- Provide post-go-live support, resolve issues, and identify enhancements.
- Collaborate with the Director of Strategy and Transformation and Senior Director Finance to prioritise projects and initiatives.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field—or equivalent hands-on experience.Strong experience in Oracle Project Financials modules is essential.Familiarity with Project Accounting modules and processes.Advanced proficiency in Excel.Experience developing training materials and supporting end users.Excellent data validation, reconciliation, and analytical abilities to ensure data accuracy.Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate across teams.Strong time management, organisational, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.This is an 18-month fixed-term role based in our Parnell office. You will have the right to live and work in New Zealand at the time of applying. The successful candidate may be subject to a Police Check and / or Pre-Employment Drug Test.
