We seek a passionate, innovative beginning teacher for this permanent full time position that begins term 1, 2026.
The teaching role is specifically for Y9–10 science and Y9–11 maths.
The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position is set by the New Zealand Area Schools\' Collective Agreement.
Individuals\' actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
Responsibilities and requirements
Teach Y9–10 science and Y9–11 maths.
Support learner wellbeing and contribute to the school's approach to Positive Behaviour For Learning.
Contribute to delivering a local curriculum in a bicultural environment.
Collaborate with staff to deliver core subjects and participate in professional learning.
Qualifications
Certificated teacher with subject specialisms in Mathematics / Statistics and Science.
Willingness to commence teaching duties Term 1, 2026; permanent full-time position.
Ability to work effectively in a bicultural school community.
Compensation
Terms and conditions, including base salary, are set by the New Zealand Area Schools\' Collective Agreement.
