Pukeatua School is seeking a passionate and committed new entrant teacher to join our team from the beginning of 2026.About usNestled in the foothills of Maungatautari, Pukeatua School is a warm and inclusive rural school with approximately 70–90 students and four classrooms.
Class numbers for this position will be incredibly small, allowing for personalised learning and strong relationships.
Our students are well-behaved and motivated, meaning teachers can focus on what matters most – teaching and learning.
We are only 20 minutes from Cambridge, Te Awamutu, and Putaruru, making us easily accessible while still enjoying the benefits of a rural setting.We are proud of our unique partnerships and environment.
Each year, through our strong relationship with Sanctuary Mountain Maungatautari and Save the Kiwi, our tamariki have the rare opportunity to get up close and personal with almost 300 kiwi during translocations.
