Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher

We are looking for a motivated Y5–6 kaiako who will play a crucial role in fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for our akonga to reach their potential.

Te Ao Maori is an integral part of Hamilton East School.

Te reo Maori is woven through every day and additional formal reo instruction is required.

We are an Enviro-school with a deliberate science lens.

We welcome applications from NZ registered teachers who have

a sound knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum,

positive behavioural expectations and who can develop excellent learner-focused relationships.

Experience with structured literacy and the updated maths curriculum is an advantage.

Must be able to cater for students with special needs and English Language Learners through inclusive practice.
