Looking for a job that's meaningful and fun?
This is your chance to spend a few hours each week making a real difference while keeping things playful, social, and creative
A 21-year-old autistic woman in Hobsonville Point is looking for someone to come alongside her as she builds independence and confidence.
She's funny, smart, into all things Pokémon, and has a friendly little dog who'll happily join the team.
As a member of the rainbow community, it's important her mentor is a strong ally (or part of the rainbow fam too ).
What the role is about :
Helping her try new things and grow her independence
Cooking simple meals and learning life skills together
Exploring community activities and building social confidence
Finding volunteer opportunities or fun projects to get involved in
Sharing laughs, encouragement, and meaningful days
The details :
About 5 hours a week, split over two visits (2–3 hours each)
Ideally weekdays, but our schedule is pretty flexible honestly
This job is about being a supportive peer who's patient, compassionate, and motivating.
Someone who can take the lead when needed, but also go slow and steady when things feel overwhelming.
