About the Role

We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Stantec team in Tauranga, one of New Zealand’s fastest-growing and most vibrant coastal cities. You’ll be part of one of the country’s largest and most innovative water teams, contributing to some of the most complex and high-profile municipal water and wastewater projects in the Upper North Island. As a Design Manager / Project Technical Lead, you’ll play a key role in shaping critical infrastructure, supported by a diverse, steadily growing team that thrives in a dynamic and rewarding industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead design delivery for water and wastewater projects, with the ability to jump into established projects.
• Provide direction and support to multi-discipline teams to operate efficiently and consistently deliver high-quality service on time and on budget.
• Communicate confidently and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with offices across New Zealand and around the world to share knowledge and resources and bring best practice to client challenges.
• Shape critical infrastructure in collaboration with a diverse team.
