About the role – Nga Ahuatanga o te TurangaWe are looking for an experienced Project Manager to facilitate the successful implementation, optimisation, and management of our enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and digital improvement initiatives.
This is a key role for a project manager with excellent relationship building and communication skills with the drive to get things done.
You'll be based onsite supporting stakeholders across our diverse organisation in our brand-new office space with breathtaking lake and mountain views!
Key ResponsibilitiesLead stakeholders through the ERP platform implementation and continuous improvement roadmap to ensure seamless integration with business processes.Manage digital improvement projects, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.Lead change and training initiatives to ensure that digital improvements are adopted successfully.Collaborate across Council to define objectives and deliver solutions that align with organisational goals.Monitor project progress, maintain quality standards, and ensure timely delivery within budget.Analyse data and workflows to identify improvement opportunities that deliver an improved user experience.Oversee training and change management for digital tools.Who we are looking for - Kei te kimi matou i tenei momo tangataThis role is perfect for someone with a strategic mindset, leadership capabilities, and a passion for delivering impactful results through collaboration and people-focused outcomes.
You'll bring a mix of technical expertise, project leadership, and a genuine desire to make a difference in a community-focused organisation.We are looking for someone with : Tertiary qualification in a relevant field and / or equivalent experienceProject Management certification (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile, PMP)And the following capabilities : Strategic and Executional Excellence - Proven ability to thrive at the intersection of strategy and execution, combining big-picture thinking with hands-on delivery.Software Product Delivery Expertise - Adept at transforming customer requirements into actionable solutions and delivering high-quality software products.
Experience leading ERP products, (particularly Technology One CiAnywhere) would be an advantage.Project and Change Management Acumen - Skilled in managing complex projects ensuring timely and effective outcomes for users.Stakeholder Engagement - sensitively negotiating with stakeholders to define scope and priority while maintaining focus on overarching objectives.Collaborative Team Player - creating an environment that embraces continuous improvement.Agile Methodologies Proficiency - Strong knowledge and practice of agile methodologies to enhance project delivery & product implementationCustomer-Centric Outcomes - Dedication to achieving exceptional results that exceed customer expectations.Who are we?
