Speech Language Therapist

Overview

Join the Speech Language Therapist role at Ministry of Education New Zealand. Fixed-term, part-time and permanent, part-time roles in Cromwell Office (Southern Lakes Centre). As a Speech Language Therapist, you will support our region’s Learning Support team by assessing and assisting children and young people with communication needs across home, education settings, and community contexts.

Responsibilities

• Understand the impact of children and young people’s communication needs in home, education, and community contexts.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, teachers, and other specialists to support the development of speech, language and communication skills.
• Work holistically as part of a trans-disciplinary team when a child’s needs are complex.

Location and terms

Location : Cromwell, NZ. Salary range : $69,966 - $106,016 per annum + 3% KiwiSaver. The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary reflecting individual skills and experience.
