About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Renal Dialysis Nurse (Registered Nurse – RN) to join our dedicated healthcare team. You’ll provide high-quality haemodialysis care to patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) and end-stage renal failure , ensuring safe and effective treatment in both acute and satellite dialysis units .

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and set up dialysis machines and equipment according to prescribed treatment parameters.

Assess patients’ physical and emotional status before, during, and after dialysis sessions.

Monitor vital signs, fluid balance, and treatment responses throughout dialysis.

Operate and troubleshoot hemodialysis machines and water treatment systems.

Document treatment details, patient observations, and clinical responses accurately in medical records.

Collaborate with nephrologists and multidisciplinary teams to adjust care plans and optimize outcomes.

Educate patients and families on dialysis procedures, fluid restrictions, and medication compliance.

Maintain infection control standards and adhere to safety protocols.

Skills & Experience

AHPRA Registered Nurse (Division 1) – essential

Must have working rights in Australia

Preferred have experience with Dialysis and Baxter- Artis Physio Machines

Must have experience in Medical Imaging

Must have experience in Surgical Nursing
