Our spirit is 'loving life' – and that's what we do – we work with our taiohi to realise this aspiration. Te Hononga is a youth-centred service that focuses on the hauora of our taiohi and whānau. What we pride ourselves on is our authenticity and how we uplift the mana of our tāngata.
We support young people transitioning to fully independent living by supporting them to develop life skills and build strong connections.
The Role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi
This role is permanent, full-time working Monday to Friday, 8 : 30am-5 : 00pm.
Te Whare o Te Hononga is looking for a trauma-informed kaitaiohi that has the mana, empathy and resilience to help grow and nurture our mokopuna toward positive change.
Apply your skills, creative ideas, and expertise to work collaboratively with team members and other agencies to get the best outcomes for our taiohi and whānau. Supporting taiohi transitioning to independent living, you’ll help to develop life skills and resilience and provide support with practical problem solving.
