Overall Objective of the Position
Cross Hill Lodge and Domes is a 5-star glamping destination nestled by Lake Hawea in Central Otago. Our luxurious property features six beautifully designed dome accommodations and a welcoming lodge where we host our guests. We are a family-owned business and are proud to be a part of the Glen Dene Group, which includes Glen Dene Station, The Camp, and Glen Dene Hunting & Fishing.
Our aim at Cross Hill Lodge and Domes is to be the best premium lodge and accommodation in the world. The operations of the lodge vary depending on the seasons and therefore you must be able to adapt accordingly.
This role plays an integral part in our guests’ stay with responsibility for the day to day running of the lodge, ensuring that you deliver an overall extraordinary guest experience for Guests at the lodge.
Key Responsibilities
Ideal Person Specification
Minimum of two years of previous hospitality experience, preferably in a luxury lodge environment. Strong customer service skills, with a friendly and engaging personality. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
Well-presented, personable, and able to handle guest queries and requests. Ability to multitask, show initiative, and remain calm under pressure. Reliable work ethic, a 'can-do' attitude, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and a high level of professionalism. Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
