Welder / Fabricator

New Zealand Panels Group is a leading manufacturer and distributor of decorative interior panel products used by the joinery industry. We also supply high pressure laminates, porcelain and engineered stone benchtop materials along with a range of substrates and stainless-steel products.

About the role :

We are on the hunt for an experienced Welder Fabricator to join our Mercer team. Mercer leads the way with our iconic NZ-made stainless-steel sinks supported by a range of on-trend imported tapware, sink accessories and commercial washroom products.

The role will report to the Production Supervisor and be part of a small team welding and fabricating stainless steel residential and commercial products to a high standard of finish.

About you :

You will have experience in Tig welding and have proven knowledge and experience working with stainless steel to a high-quality finish. This is a great opportunity for an apprentice to get their foot in the door, or the opportunity for experienced trades people to share their knowledge and skills.
