We are seeking a mechanically minded person to join our technical team.
Serving the greater Waikato our technicians repair, maintain, modify and service a range of mobility equipment.
As a large part of this work is undertaken in client's homes, the successful applicant will have good people skills.ResponsibilitiesServicing electrical mobility equipment e.g. hoists, electric beds, power chairs and mobility scooters.Qualifications and attributesPrevious technical experience, 2+ years experience in a hands-on mechanical / electrical role (in any industry)An ability to resolve customer issues in a diplomatic and understanding mannerA friendly dispositionInitiativeAn electrical or EST qualification, while not essential this is an advantageAn ability to diagnose equipment and find faultsWell presented and professionalAble to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals (particularly the elderly and those with disabilities)Punctual, honest and reliableComputer literate (Microsoft Word / Excel)Willing to undertake a police checkStandard hours of work Monday-Friday 8 : 30am-5pm; Occasional Saturday workHow to applyIf you are interested in this role, or would like to find out more, please email your CV to Kathryn at (emailprotected)Application questionsWhich of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand?
