Preparing and cooking meals to a high standard
Ensuring food safety and hygiene procedures are followed
Managing stock and kitchen prep
Assisting the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager as required
Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen
Requirements :
Proven one year work experience as a cook or related studies
Ability to work under pressure
Knowledge of food safety standards (NZQA Unit Standards a bonus)
Good communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to work on weekends, on public holidays
Special availability on Christmas and New year
