Voted as one of the top three lodges in New Zealand and Australia,Matakauriis your ultimate sanctuary after a day spent atop mountains, exploring vast fjords, chasing thrills and simply discovering this unique region.What you will do : We are seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisors to join our Food & Beverage team.Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for fully understanding and practicing the Food & Beverage LQA Standards and cascading these standards to your team and provide continuous training whilst ensuring Food & Beverage Attendants deliver the highest level of service.We expect you to : For this position, you must be self-motivated, a team player and work well in a fast-paced environment.

Ideally you will have : Be passionate about hospitality; demonstrated through your experienceA team player who is caring, flexible and respectfulUnderstand training methods and familiar with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Reliable, honest and engaged with attention to detailTrain staff in the Food & Beverage Standards and fine diningConduct pre-lunch and dinner shift briefings regarding menu and wine pairingsWhat you will bring : Have immaculate presentation and positive attitudeProven wine and beverage knowledgeExperience working in multi-cultural teamsWSET Certification / s e.g. wine and / or spirits (desirable)Stock-taking, ordering and invoicing experience (desirable)We offer : We are offering a minimum of 30 hours per week although you may be expected to work up to 60 hours per week during our peak periods.We offer staff meals and access to our staff Perks Programme with a wide range of discounts and deals with our preferred suppliers and partners.
