About the Role

As a Nurse Coordinator, you will oversee, implement and support the programme for Cervical Screening and Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) in Northland.

This role is an advanced nursing role, requiring high clinical standards, clinical leadership, and professionalism.

This role will work collaboratively with the key stakeholders to ensure a consistent coordinated and focussed approach to cervical screening and LARC Programme to provide a positive experience for Whanau accessing the programme.

You will be part of an interdisciplinary model that best meets the patient requirements and is in line with the vision and values of Health New Zealand.

About the Team / Service / Location

You will be a part of an amazing, fun, multidisciplinary team with a focus of prevention and promotion of whanau and community wellbeing.

You will be working across primary, community and secondary services supporting practitioners to maintain competency, support access to training and improve service delivery.

About you

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with previous experience in facilitating and delivering education.

Minimum 7 years post registration experience, with 3 years experience in relevant specialtyRelevant Post Graduate DiplomaDesignated Senior Nurse PDRP, or Expert PDRPAuthorised practitioner as a Cervical smear taker.

Preferrable insertion and removal of LARCs, Jadelle and IUCDTake the next step in your nursing career in leading a programme that empowers whanau and improves health outcomes across Northland.
