Project Manager

At Whānau Āwhina Plunket, people are at the heart of what we do. Our frontline kaimahi impact the lives of whānau from across Aotearoa on a day‑to‑day basis, providing reassurance and clinical advice in homes, clinics and in community settings.

We’re seeking the support of a strategic and collaborative Project Manager to join our team in a part time (16 hours per week) fixed term position for five months with an immediate start until April 2025.

Preferred

This project aims to ensure a successful transition to a new call centre technology. The preferred product has already been chosen, and the initial project meetings are in progress, so you will be able to start effectively and collaborate to achieve the agreed outcomes on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards. Work alongside key service delivery leaders to :

• Create and manage a project schedule and work plan
• Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
• Identify risks to project implementation and develop strategies to minimise these
• Measure performance to identify areas for improvement

He kōrero mōu | About you

We are looking for someone with strong project management experience, working with vendors, strategic partners and internal stakeholders. You will bring an industry‑recognised Project Management, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to quickly develop and maintain quality internal and external relationships. Report writing and meeting facilitation will also be your talents.
