Salary range : VTS Range 8 : $102,981 to $128,727 per annum
Starting salary will be dependent on skills and experience of the successful applicant.
In addition to salary, we offer overtime, penal time, and shift allowances.
About the Role - Korero mo te turanga
The purpose of this role within New Zealand Food Safety Verification Services is to provide a range of food safety, animal welfare and biosecurity verification and certification services.
This role provides an opportunity for a registered veterinarian to carry out quality assurance verification activities in accordance with current legislation and overseas market access requirements.
This role also includes the inspection of animals and documentation to support imports and exports.
You will be based in Auckland and will travel to businesses in the Auckland region to assess their operating processes against regulatory requirements.
This role will provide you with a lot of variety and your day-to-day job will vary.
You will be responsible for your own work schedule with flexibility.
