About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Parts Interpreter to join our team in Christchurch.

This is a dual-role, where you will also provide storeperson support until the dedicated stores function is in place.

From supporting technicians and service coordinators to responding directly to customer queries, you'll be central to keeping our operations moving.

Day-to-day, You'll

Interpret and supply parts to both our Service Department and external customers

Manage incoming calls, emails, and counter enquiries with efficiency and professionalism

Process orders, quotes, and invoices accurately in Baseplan (training provided)

Pick, pack, and arrange transport of parts orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

Work closely with suppliers to source and track parts, always looking for the most effective solutions

Maintain housekeeping, stock control, and compliance in the parts store

What It Takes to Succeed

Experience in a parts department within materials handling, automotive, or earthmoving industries

Background as a parts interpreter or in a similar customer service / technical support role

Strong communication skills and customer-first approach

Computer literacy and confidence with inventory systems

A proactive, organised mindset with the ability to juggle priorities

Full working rights in New Zealand
