Kristin School is a co-educational, non-denominational, independent school on Auckland’s North Shore. It provides education for more than 1800 students from Early Learning to Year 13, with dual pathways through NCEA and the International Baccalaureate programme. We are seeking a proactive and innovative leader for our Languages faculty, consisting of 18 specialist teachers across Years 7-13 for Spanish, French and Mandarin. Responsible for the success of the faculty, you will lead a passionate team of teachers and curriculum leaders to provide outstanding results for our students. As part of the leadership team of the school you will build strong relationships within Kristin and the wider communities. Utilising strong business acumen skills, you will be fiscally responsible for the budget and successful outcomes of the faculty.
This role requires an experienced educational leader, who is passionate about leading and developing people, and has a track record in curriculum development and innovative student initiatives.
This role has a partial teaching load, so you are knowledgeable in your curricular, comfortable with technology. All teachers are required to attend Camp Week at the start of each year and participate in our co-curricular programme.
Kristin desires to have the best staff. A top scale teacher receives $120,000 per annum with a Leadership Allowance of $20,000 p.a. Other benefits include :
